Our History

Magrane Pet Medical Center has a history filled with national and international recognition. Drs. Harry Jr. and brother Bill Magrane have received recognition for their contributions to the profession including serving as presidents of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the prestigious American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Kathleen Neuhoff was the 2002-2003 President of the American Animal Hospital Association and was recently named a Distinguished Alumni of Purdue University.  Dr. Neuhoff is Board Certified in Small Animal Medicine, and is currently the only board certified veterinarian in the St. Joseph County area. We receive referrals from the surrounding region for complicated medical and surgical problems.

We are an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited practice, which means that we meet AAHA’s extensive standards for patient care. These standards help assure that we provide your pets with the highest quality health care possible. Magrane Pet Medical Center has held this voluntary accreditation since 1942.
